Finally able to cycle into town this afternoon.
The hour by hour BBC web forecast for Abingdon said sun from 2-5pm.
Not a glimpse of it!

The snows lingers on by the Thames - this was taken from west side of Nag's Head Island which sits bang in the middle of the river. The west side belongs to the local chandlery; the east side houses the beautiful 'Nag's Head on the Thames' public house.
