A Day in Forest School

Due to staffing issues today (I had been pre-warned) I spent the whole day in Forest School but as it was a lovely day and the sun was shining I didn't mind and with all the talk of Corona virus it was nice being outside instead of been cooped up in classroom the children had a wonderful time climbing trees, walking in the stream and squelching in the mud (although one little boy fell flat on his face in the mud didn't think that was fun). On the pond we have two ducks living today we had to be really quiet as the Mummy duck was sitting on a nest on the raft in the middle we think there might be some eggs in the nest so we are hoping that we may have baby duckings soon will keep you posted.
