Long Live The Queen

This is Queen Newt, and true to her name, she reigns supreme over her domain, despite very humble beginnings. She was abandoned outside as a kitten by a neighbor who moved. It was late Fall. We never saw her again until the following Spring stretched out across our front step. Somehow she had survived and was asking for help. We immediately began feeding her and provided outdoor shelter but she trusted NO ONE. Gradually over three winters, numerous shelters, and time to build trust, we began feeding her inside our home while our other two were kept upstairs. Within a few months and a vet visit we followed guidelines by Jackson Galaxy and introduced our three cats. Since December 2019 she spends every night inside and only goes out when she asks, which is almost daily depending on the weather. Our other two are inside only. She is safe and sound, we love her so. Our Queen!
