Inaccessible beauty

Purple mountain saxifrage on slopes below Dollywaggon Pike, in a spot inaccessible to sheep. This was a sunny spot, but the temperature dropped as we went on to Nethermost Pike where the wind was wild. Helvellyn still has a good quantity of old snow forming cornices on the edge of the steep slopes.
