Daily reading ...

Both my children are in key stage one and an integral part of our day is hearing them read.

My daughter came out of school the other day absolutely thrilled with herself that she is now classed as a 'free reader'. This is brilliant, but the disadvantage is she now picks books that are really very tricky in terms of vocab and storyline!

She loves reading, and her favourite author is definitely Jaqueline Wilson. Long may this continue!
