And we're off ....

Only yesterday I was moaning to zoology daughter that I hadn't seen any butterflies yet this year.Then on this morning's walk with the spaniel, at just after 10am, I spotted my first, a male Brimstone. By 11.15 am I'd seen another 18 Brimstones as well as two Peacocks. On the afternoon walk, another two Peacock and three Commas. A great start to the butterfly season.
