seaside daffs

Glorious Spring day today! Sun is shining, temperature is mild - yay!!

WE braved a trip to Southend this morning and immediately noted how quiet most of the shops and cafes were that are normally filled up with shoppers of the 'older' persuasion. Maybe they're self isolating already. It's going to be a tough few months for the high street if this carries on.  AT least the daffodils planted on the banks along the seafront were looking cheery!

Moved my mini greenhouse in to a warmer sunnier position this afternoon, so it's almost time to start the seed sowing! The slugs and snails will be moving in soon after I'm sure!
