New concepts...

This lovely calendar was given to me by the beautiful Emily, son #1's girlfriend. She remembered me saying I wanted something different for a particular space in the kitchen - and she hit the nail on the head.

Now all I have to do is remember to change it every day. Bit of a new concept....a new challenge.

Also a new concept is having someone to come in once a fortnight to do a couple of hours cleaning. It's a bit extravagant and I feel slightly uneasy, but it makes a massive difference to me. Most weekends I spend most of one day catching up on school stuff, the thought of not having to worry about dust on skirting boards, hoovering stairs and having sparkling clean bathrooms at least every other week makes me happy.

I did however find myself rushing round tonight, tidying and cleaning as she is due tomorrow....can't help thinking there is something not quite right with that .... ;-) Another new concept to try and get the hang of...

Work highlight: A year 12 student, who after 5 and a half years of learning German only realised today that you don't get Umlauts on an e ....made the whole group laugh, although I was a little tempted to cry/shout/bang my head on the desk repeatedly..... ;-)
