Sandy Hook

It’s a narrow strip of land with water on both sides about an hour from us. It’s perfectly positioned to protect the New York Harbor so there is an old Coast Guard base and a lot of old, crumbling bunkers from a past era. We picked up two bags of plastic garbage. Three big ships and several airplanes went by while we were walking on the beach.
