Circle of Ice

G discovered a layer of ice about 1 inch thick on water in a bucket yesterday. He removed it and put it on the ground. It was very cold overnight and the ice was frozen to the ground, so I took a photo of it and liked the way the bits of grass and leaves showed up through it. When I showed G the photo, he said that the fragility of the ice reminded him of the fragility of the planet. I agree.
I see the shape of a squirrel. There goes my overactive imagination again!
