Under the weather

After an early morning trip to Waitrose for essentials, I had a pretty quiet day. It's a good job I didn't need any toilet paper, as it had virtually all gone within half-an-hour of the store opening - the lack of paracetamol and tissues was slightly more annoying as I'm feeling rather under the weather from a cold-type virus (not Covid-19!) 

It rained steadily for much of the day, so I didn't feel I was missing out by staying indoors. The sky finally cleared just before sunset, when I had a quick walk round the garden to admire all the spring flowers. I was quite surprised to see that the cherry blossom has now started to open up, roughly a fortnight earlier than normal.
