Pastel

Apart from the cheeky dried grasses peeking in on the right hand side, this reminds me of an energetic pastel or chalk drawing, using deep, rich colours.  A double exposure of one layer of scrubby willows & dried grass, rotated 90 degrees and layered with the distant view of the church.
