To Add Some Lovely Cheer

A lovely morning at the yard and with all the problems over the last few months with busy work, the storms, the problems with China’s shoes and saddle, although I have been working him in hand and on the lunge, I haven’t actually ridden since the end of January. Well today the equestrian Gods aligned and I decided that today was the day to get back riding. After 6 weeks off he took it all in his stride. He was so good and didn’t put a foot wrong. It did feel good to be back in the saddle.

Another garden blip as in these challenging times, these bright little tete a tete daffodils certainly add some lovely cheer to my patio beds. Eldest was extremely disappointed to have his birthday celebration trip, with 7 of his friends to Krakow, tomorrow has been cancelled as Poland have closed their borders...no doubt just the start of the impact on us over the next few months!
