Drought Conditions,TuiRise

This afternoon we had a drive around a higher area on the farm.  You can see how dry it is.  The dark green bush on the right is an area of regenerating native trees.  They are under a Queen Elizabeth the second covenant which means they cannot be cut down even if the land is sold.  The blip is an in camera pano. 
This morning the forester continued chainsawing a row of poplar and willow trees.  Afterwards the cattle were aloud into the paddock to munch up the leaves and bark.  They liked that.
