Fiery

A quiet day. Walked hound, conversation with fellow dog walkers drifted to coronavirus.  C  said she'd attempted to shop at Aldi but the queues were trailing out of the store with people panic buying loo rolls and the loc as l Budgens had only 3 packs of pasta left.  T said her husband was receiving chemotherapy and waiting for surgery which was now postponed due to coronavirus. drawing. N said friends had withdrawn from an evening meal get-together as they were self-isolating.  The c*********s-word has replaced the B****t-word.
In Italy, my cousin's daughter who runs her own beautician shop by government order has had to close up for a few weeks.  Social media posts video clips of neighbourhood apartment blocks performing folk songs across the balconies.  Self-isolated but not daunted.
Tonight's sky was another simple pleasure.
