Cuddles for Ele...

Ele and Kenny came up at 1pm and we headed to the golf club for lunch.  

Ele and I sat on and enjoyed coffee whilst the guys went to play golf.  Only nine holes open due to the heavy rain over the last few days.

Of course the conversation was dominated by the coronavirus.  Ele and Kenny were supposed to be going to their holiday house in Spain in two weeks but that's been cancelled.  They should be back in June but even that trip may be in doubt.  Ele's view is that until she knows she's not going, she is going.  

Next weekend we're all supposed to be going away for the weekend (part of Ele's 60th birthday celebrations) to a lovely cottage near Darlington, but that may not happen either.  

We've decided that assuming we're all virus free, we will go to the cottage but take all supplies with us so we don't have to eat out.  We can just enjoy each other's company, drink gin and play board games :-))  Of course that's assuming  the country hasn't been put on lockdown.  We'll just have to wait and see.  

We ate dinner watching Sports Relief.  Lola was in cuddle mode (as ever!) and wanted to cuddle into Ele.  Ele wasn't complaining.
