Till we meet Again
I have to admit I borrowed this photo of my two youngest daughters because I won’t see them for a while as the family is worried about visiting and infecting me with the virus even if they don’t actually have it but have to consider the fact that they might be asymptomatic carriers.
My medical daughter phoned me last night to tell me that her hospital had geared up for Armageddon and she was advising me not to travel anywhere by bus if I could possibly help it as there were limited facilities in the hospitals for specialist care , all of which I knew but it is worrying when my kids suddenly want to wrap me in cotton wool because I’m an endangered species.
Taking that advice on board I walked to Bruntsfield for my coffee this morning and then made the mistake of going into a supermarket for an elusive can of chick peas to discover that half of Morningside had got there before me and it was pulsating with people. I decided chick peas weren’t important enough to stand in a very long queue for a self service till and left to walk home.
No buses were used in the making of this blip.
