Power Outage

We lost "shore power" this afternoon around 5:30.  It wasn't a great bother to us since all we needed to do was start our generator but a lot of our neighbors didn't have any alternate source of power.  As it happened, we enjoyed a lovely evening on the patio and slept quite comfortably with all the windows open.
When I got up in the morning the power had been restored and the toaster worked just fine.
