Pulmonaria

Pulmonaria works very well in one of the beds alongside our office, which is largely in the shade.  We redesigned the bed last spring, and found plants with three different colours of flowers - we have the most commonly seen blue one, but we also have a plant with rather wonderful bright pink flowers that I blipped last spring, and another plant with pale violet flowers - photo in extras.  I love the splotchy foliage, and the long flowering season.  The plants are all thriving, and hopefully spreading.

I did buy a plant with white flowers, but it was rather small when I planted it, and I'm afraid, unlike the others, it doesn't seem to have survived.  May try again this year, if I see some.
