Life goes on. Painting. Keeping the stoves going. Watching the news feeds and twitter. Staying in touch. The UK strategy looking risky. Regular updates from our mayor- a case confirmed in the village and three in quarantine.

We stay on the res. Our neighbours pass as they go off to work and return. Big waves. The numbers of new cases and deaths are scary. We’re gradually counting down the days we last had contact with possible cases.

And the rest of Europe catching up with Italy.

Who would have thought we’d be here three weeks ago.
