A project

It's years since I baked scones and I realise it's because my recipe is poor. So the project is to try a few new ones and see if I can find one that I think makes it worth baking.
This is a Delia Smith recipe. Already a big improvement.
In other news we cancelled a trip to Tadcaster to see my youngest brother and his family. Youngest nephew has gone down with a cough and given my history of asthma we decided that discretion wins it for today.
Steph will be here shortly for tea and Gorgeous Boy is having a sleepover.
