It’s catching, Clare and my sloth like routine on some of her days off that is. Despite climbing out of bed around 8:15 I think Clare was probably the first to shower and change out ‘leisure’ wear and that only because we needed something for dinner!

These are the days that we look forward to with Samantha, a day chatting with Joshua, finding out how he’s getting on, learning that he is settled in the far north of Scotland and enjoying it, that he is looking forward to deploying when it comes and that he enjoys coming home.

Look forward to many more of them.

Like millions of others I suspect I remain confused by the Coronavirus advice coming at us from every direction.

Carry on as normal until the community builds up its immunity.

Common sense tells us that the country cannot come to a standstill.
