Kelly..

..is a remarkable young woman who has faced more challenges in her young life than most.  She lost her partner Nick to Lymphoma  when he was just 31, faced a very long recovery from severe concussion, losing her financial independance and ability to work for a long period of time.  In memory of Nick she raised money for the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation by challenging herself to ride 31kms a day for 31 days. Kelly then supported and cared for her Mum during treatment for Lymphoma until her death in July 2018.  Creativity is an important tool in the grief process and today I talked to Kelly at an exhibition of her art which she says celebrates her coming back to life and embracing what is important to her. And she's thinking about riding another 31kms a day for 31days in honour of her Mum.
