Flower Friday...Ibis Version

Lisa and I went out to the botanical garden with the idea of "playing" Flower Friday. I did shoot several pretty flowers, but then 6 ibises and 1 great egret showed up. 

When the ibis walked in back of the "flower", I thought..."Hmmm, that ibis REALLY lights up the scene. The problem?

This ain't a flower...IT'S A WEED! Regardless, I'm still entering it.

Later, while shooting an osprey, a couple told us about an owl's nest. We did find it, and got a glimpse of mama owl and baby owl. The mama is in the Extras. Not a great picture, but exciting to see.
