Flower Friday

A nice sunny start to the day and I decided to make it a relaxing one.  So a quick visit to the nearby shops looking for a book for a friends birthday but ended up having to use an online shop.  Was about to go and look at the allotment to see how the sprouting broccoli was doing but by then it was raining.  So a day of sourdough making and general tidying up.

This flower is just beginning to unfurl in our front garden.
