Back home

So glad to see Mittens back in his basket again. He went awol on Wednesday afternoon. At first I thought he might be popping in and out of the house when we were out but when it was clear he hadn’t been in overnight either, I started to worry. I went out for a walk and called for him - nothing. Then, just before lunchtime, while Martin was listening to a bird call in the garden, he heard a miaow from our neighbour’s garage. Unfortunately our neighbours were out. I slipped some cat biscuits and water under the garage door and a note to the neighbours, as we were heading out. By the time we got back, he’d been released! So here he is, settling in for the evening after his misadventure.
