St Margaret's Church, Hales in Norfolk.

Yesterday on our way home from Lowestoft we took a slight detour to go and see this lovely little church, St Margaret's at Hales in Norfolk. I took a couple of photos with my MPP 5 x 4 camera and developed the film today. This Norman church built in the 12 Century remains largely as it was built. The extra is of the exceptionally fine North doorway, the carving almost as crisp as as when it was when the mason finished it 900 odd years ago.
