Very inviting

Look at the state of the lake this morning when we turned up for our 8:00am swim. Extra - Karen and Sally heading for the snow on the hills in the distance.  Well not really;  Windermere is 10 miles long, the hills even further away. We probably swam a kilometre in total, then off to the  Yew Tree Barn for breakfast.   The clouds came back by lunchtime but the biting wind has gone. Water temperature:  5.7°C , warmer than last week, just.
