How do you pronounce the name of this flower?

Happily my nursing role is declining and giving me a little more time for Blip.

But as a mid eighties old man with a cough I can see that a measure of isolation may well put some restrictions on blip searching in the coming weeks.

One of the consequences is that I may find myself blipping everything that grows in the garden by the end of the summer. Would prefer to be out on the hills looking for less common subjects. But thats how it goes.

To make it a little more interesting let me ask you how you pronounce the name of this flower, which is, of course, a Camellia.

Many of my gardening friends use a short ‘e’ so that “mell” rhymes with “bell”. But all my life I have pronounced it Cameeeellia and so has Mrs. K.
Are we way out of line?
