MAGPIE ....

.... just enjoying the late afternoon light on a warmish day.

Called by one of the local Horse Studs backing the mighty Nepean River to see how things have changed after all the rain.

There was a bit of activity, but liked this Magpie looking majestic as it sat on the fence looking toward the setting light.

Enjoy and have a look in LARGE (and as always better in Black) and of course a couple of others here and a heron here.

Oh, and must be Friday the 13th - all the News here today full of "bad News" re the Virus issue - with the Rugby League season starting off today, the Government along with any amount of other measures, have decreed as of Monday any activities with more than 500 people can go ahead but without spectators. The T20 cricket Aussies vs New Zealand played today without a crowd, quite weird to see - as one sports player said "they have not had that experience since playing under 8's" !! The big one of course was the F1 Motor Races in Melbourne were called off completely in a real "bad blunder" by the bosses. When they did announce it at 9am, the fans were lined up at the gates, but news came out that one of the drivers had already flown out at 6am this morning, so why not accounce it last night, obviously they knew!!
