The Future.....or the Past?

This bookshop opened in Tunbridge Wells in 1898, so you would think that after over a hundred years, they must be doing something right.

By preserving the Past for the Future, it brings an aspect of time travel to its customers.

Now, who would have thought of that 100 years ago, when it first opened?
H.G.Wells, born not 20 miles away in Bromley, perhaps?

He published the Time Machine in 1895 - around the time the shop opened.
He might even have visited it!
