rainy day fun

Since it was pouring rain today, we returned to the Birch Aquarium at Scripps and were not disappointed. The first time we went (last Friday), we arrived shortly after they opened in the morning. The Weedy Sea Dragons were not on display, and the sea turtle was sleeping under a sunken boat in the display. Today we went in the middle of the afternoon and everyone was there and wide awake!
I like this shot of the turtle because you can see how big she is compared to the little boy in the corner looking at her.
