Morningside Road

We went out for a walk this afternoon to get some Raclette Cheese for Saturday’s meal, so that meant a trip to Waitrose as that is a sure fire bet for getting some. On the way down towards Morningside Road we saw a lot of toilet paper being delivered to a flat, and there were several people clutching toilet rolls as part of their shopping as they walked up the road; I’m still baffled. Surely food is more important than toilet paper if you insist on panic buying? My blip is the view down Morningside Road towards the Pentlands that still had a little of the overnight snow left. The extra is a rather gruesome one of the remains of a Wood Pigeon that had had and lost an argument with a Sparrowhawk. Shortly afterwards the killer returned to claim the rest of the carcass and hide it away nearby.
