She's back

Had a couple of brief forays out - one up the Walk for food items at Tattie Shaw's, and later across the Links to get my hair cut. Long overdue - not so much long, as extremely wild and tatty. Quite a relief when Pamela cut lots of it off. In between, I was mostly marking (I'm trying out purple e-ink as a change from green - the excitement is almost unbearable).

Popped halfway across the bridge to see if Mrs Swan had decided on the traditional nest site - and she has! She may even have laid an egg, since she was not moving her body at all, just busily tidying the twigs and/or litter by stretching her neck.
