Wildboar Clough Longdendale

A very windy day .... blowing West to East up the valley.

Shame it was such a windy day.  Just opposite the place I took this photo:

A man with a voice just like the actor Brian Blessed told me the names of the reservoirs  East to West.  He didn't give me the chance to say I already knew them :-)

I pressed a button on a new (to me at least) information post for the Longdendale Access Project - this is on a slightly raised position with a seat and room for wheelchair.

The Traffic on the opposite side is on the A628 Woodhead Pass road
