What A Difference A Few Hundred Miles Makes!

Day 2 of our road trip.  This afternoon finds us very comfortably ensconced at the charming Clifton hotel in Charlottesville, Virginia.  When we left Boston on Wednesday, there were bare trees, brown grass, and no real signs of Spring to be seen yet.  Here there are daffodils, crocuses, magnolias, pansies, blossoming trees ... and snapping turtles!  As I type this, I am sitting outside, enjoying the warm temperature and the sunshine with Mabel curled up at my feet.
