What a grey day!

It's been this sort of a day today not helped by the fact that I haven't slept well for two nights so was feeling less than wonderful anyway. Grim news on tv, lots of things to plan and that I need volunteers for... Can I ask them though.? I realise the world can't stop but it sounds a bit as if that is just what is going to happen.
With a daughter who's a doctor and a son in law who's a police officer, I think we're going to be on full time childcare for the foreseeable future.
So today it rained.
Comfort food day, made a pot of cream of carrot soup and some semolina and rhubarb!!!
Cleo made me smile by trying to fit into an egg box, sadly I didn't manage to catch her with my camera.
Onwards and upwards!
