Wrinkled Apple

Someone offered me an "organic apple" about 40 years ago. I was a bit taken aback as didn't think an apple (except those decorative plastic fruits popular in the 50s) could be otherwise.
Apparently the meaning is a bit stricter these days, but it still sprang to mind when I saw the Abstract Thursday theme was organic.
I knew there was a wrinkled apple in the fruit bowl awaiting blipping.
I tortured it in various ways: overexposing in camera; reducing highlights and increasing contrast and clarity in LR; and finally underexposing a bit to end up with this.
It may not be abstract after all (except for the thumbnail) but I didn't mind the result.
