A pure snow fluke!

Got up at 7am to try and catch some snow blur shots but everywhere I went the damned security lights came on and I wasn't going walkabout down the farm track in the snow. Snapped a couple of shots with the flash on but wasn't impressed with the results. When I got in I found that one flash shot had caused this strange effect. The sparkle from the floodlight passes close to the centre of a snowflake - a pure fluke, but it makes a curiosity shot.

The only filter on the camera is a Hoya UV.
