Cake!

Our best friend Heidi’s birthday was yesterday, and we did sing the Swedish birthday song and shared her present opening via FaceTime, but we did not have cake. 

Today mum went grocery shopping, and she came back with - cake! Princess cake, which is my favourite. There is not supposed to be any chocolate on it though! Sponge cake, raspberry jam, lots of whipped cream and a green marzipan lid. We shared it for afternoon fika. 

The corona virus is a very serious issue in Sweden as well as in other countries. Our main job, according to mum, is to protect Grandma, who is very old and frail, from getting sick. I’ll help as best I can.
