Mosaic workshop

It was a meeting with a difference when members from seven local WIs got together for a mosaic workshop. We had just a hour to make a garden ornament, but the preparation by the tutor had been so thorough that most of us managed to finish. The creations have been taken away to be grouted. I will blip mine when I get it back.
The short workshop was followed by a fish and chip lunch. A van parked outside the hall and the meal was cooked on the spot so it was fresh and piping hot. The afternoon finished with a business meeting. This sociable day was an excellent opportunity to meet members of the other WIs in our local area.
