Tiring

I don’t want today to become my Saturday routine when the club is playing at home otherwise it makes it a long week. There’s also the concept of “flogging a dead horse” where the group of half a dozen volunteers are increasingly taking on more.
When I finally called time on catering today it was around 6:30, that’s nine + hours in the kitchen.

I feel a little of the “black dog” coming on, whether it’s the thought of another long day tomorrow or the fact that although we around day sixty of 2020 when you take December into account it feels as though it has been raining for a hundred days.
