Desi

This handsome guy is Desi. He is my 9-year-old cockapoo. He's been awfully cute lately. My 85-year-old parents are arriving from Los Angeles soon. They mail up their clothing so they don't have to carry bags on the plane. I've got the clothes all neatly hanging in the closet, and pajamas are stowed under the pillow. Desi knows they are coming and he's been hanging out in the guest room, a room he never frequents unless there is company.

Once my parents are here, he is no longer my dog. He becomes attached to my mother. He likes to sit next to her and he sleeps with my parents. He forgets who feeds and walks him; his grandparents are here!
