Back and forth
I had several errands to do in the Tolcross area today.
One of them was to repay 50p that I owed in a thrift shop. Whilst stopping to take a photo along the canal I saw at my foot a 50p piece. No-one was around so I picked it up with a tissue, wiped it around and duly paid my dues with it.
I popped into another charity shop where I spied a huge plastic bag of beads, job lot sort of thing. I'm always on the look out for the old fashioned plastic popper beads ever since Aunty Annie gave me a string of her old pearl ones decades ago. Well, there in the bag was another such string of them and after a quick bartering with the assistant she duly singled out the pearls for me. I was pure delighted.
Then I bumped into a friend who I hadn't seen for years but now have seen twice in a week.
