The light returns

Today started dull and wet, but I had already decided on a reading day - the books are piling up. I did do a few other more mundane things, like cleaning out a cupboard, de-scaling the coffee machine, but I also read.

I was therefore very pleased when the sun suddenly came out this afternoon and I realised that, for the first time this year, it was warm enough to sit in the conservatory, with wonderful light, to continue my reading there . . . until almost 6pm!

It may be dire weather again tomorrow and we may even get some snow, but I feel the light has returned.
