At last!

I thought all my Pulmonaria plants had died but when I came home after taking the dogs for a rather soggy walk I spotted these two tiny flowers on one of the plants in my rockery .... plenty more buds appearing.

It was a very wet morning so I took the opportunity to do some housework and make lentil soup for the freezer.

The weather dried up a bit this afternoon but the forecast for tomorrow is for more rain. We are off to Edinburgh tomorrow to see the stage show of The Lion King. A visit to the Botanic Gardens was planned for the morning but with a poor forecast that visit is on hold.
