Miller Ground

I met JE at White Moss for a walk.  It was raining very heavily and it didn't let up all morning.  We had planned to walk from Rydal to Grasmere but part of the route at White Moss was flooded.  So we went via the route to Dove Cottage instead.  Boy did it rain.

We had coffee at Mathilde's in Grasmere and managed to soak the seats there.  On the way back through the village I stopped off to buy a waterproof cover for my daysac.  Shutting the stable door etc.

On the drive home it stopped raining so I parked at Miller Ground and ventured down towards the lake.  

Good walk and catch up despite the weather.
