Enough with the Trees Already!!!!

For some reason I am being drawn to barren trees at sunset...sunrise...and sunset again. Sorry folks! I shoot them as I see them! This photo was taken in Park Slope, Brooklyn along 7th Ave. Today is one of our coldest days in two years...5 degrees with the wind chill. On this coldest day in two years I decided to walk from my office to my next meeting-- about a mile or 20 city blocks. I usually walk from one destination to the other -- except of course when commuting from New Jersey. Walking keeps me connected to the community, to the borough of Brooklyn, and all of the goings on in our many neighborhoods. But today it was so cold and my head so buried inside my coat I couldn't see anything...until I happened to look up at the setting sun and this tree. I simply had to take my gloves off and take the shot. I can't tell anyone why I am so captivated by the filigree of these leaf-less limbs against the night sky...or the morning sky...but I am. Tomorrow -- I'll try to take a photo of something else. Actually -- I did try to do that today but all of those photos seemed, well, forced. They didn't call out to me at all. So -- there you have -- my 3rd tree -- which makes it a series. Have a goodnight all!
