Canada Geese

It was a lovely day in Maine today. Although cloudy for most of the day the temps were above normal and then jumped to the mid-50s when the sun popped through for a bit this afternoon. When our errands were done we made three stops along the Kennebec River to see what was flying and swimming about. With winter’s ice breaking up and floating downriver we should begin seeing the return of migrating birds soon. It seems like we’re a month ahead of last year.
