THE INTIMIDATOR
A majestic Ferruginous hawk
Named for those amazing rust-colored feathers.

Often confused with an eagle,
This is the largest hawk in North America.
With a wingspan of 53-60 inches (135-152 cm)
Interestingly, his legs are feathered
All the way down to his intimidating talons.

Check out those fierce hooded eyes.
Those talons ever-ready to snag unsuspecting prey.
